Molodowski-Lew, Kadia
(1894-1975)
   American Yiddish poet and novelist. She was born in Lithuania. She participated in the publications of the Kiev Yiddish Group after 1917, but soon moved to Warsaw to teach in Yiddish schools. In 1935 she settled in New York. Her verse reflects her experiences in Europe, America and Israel. After the establishment of the State of Israel, she wrote lyrics expressing joy at the restoration of Zion. She also wrote novels, short stories and plays, depicting Jewish life in Poland as well as biblical and historical themes.
